This is quite a random thought. I was in Black Lion today on my lunch break. It’s a great store that has a huge selection of different stuff. Mostly home stuff. It’s basically a huge store that is divided into “booths” (for lack of a better word) that can be rented out by individuals to display and sell their goods.
I started going their mostly because they have huge Vera Bradley section, which has expanded recently too. It makes me happy. Even if I rarely buy any.
Today I was looking at some Vera and noticed a spot next door that looked like it had a lot of girly stuff with sayings (you know, the dishtowels that say “Can I count wine as my vegetable serving?” and other cutesy items like that). It also had Eliza B. flip flops. I love them because they’re so cute.
And then I saw it. Saw the item that made me go, “ew, seriously?”
I really do NOT like Crocs. And I’m sorry if you do. I hear that they are extremely comfortable. And I’m sure they are. But they are ugly (in my opinion). And I’m positive that, even though they have ventilation (that says it all right there), that they would make my feet sweat profusely.
Oh, and I’m sure they’d make my feet look huge. Which they already take care of on their own.
So, now Crocs is trying to stay with the trend and are producing ballet flat type Crocs? It’s just weird. And ugly to me. Oh, and did I mention I think they are ugly?
I happily went back to the Eliza B. section.
Just to look. I’m getting much better at this window shopping thing. 🙂
Please take no offense if you own Crocs. This was meant in no way to assault, attack or offend you. Everyone has their own opinion, right?
Shep and Dixie were so cute last night.
First, they made a toy out of the empty food bag before I could get rid of it. This provided for endless entertainment. Funny, they seem to like the non-traditional toys (empty food bag, cardboard boxes, etc.) more than all those nice, expensive toys we bought them. Guess it’s like how little kids like the boxes that their toys come in more than the toys sometimes.
New Toy
Then, they were tired so we cuddled on the couch together.
And then… Oh wait, what’s that wet spot, you ask? Right. And then Shep peed on me!
Seriously?!
